KHARTOUM, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Sudan on Tuesday condemned the explosion at a Zimbabwe's election rally, calling it "a crime contradicting the human values and African brotherhood."

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns in the "strongest possible terms" the explosion during an election rally in the city of Bulawayo, the statement said.

It expressed condolences to the government and people of Zimbabwe and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

The ministry reiterated that Sudan rejects all criminal acts and attack on innocent people.

On Saturday, Zimbabwe's President Emmerson Mnangagwa survived a blast during an election campaigning rally, which left at least two people dead and many others injured.
