LAS VEGAS, March 3 (Xinhua) -- North America's largest construction trade show opened on Tuesday in Las Vegas, showcasing the latest machinery, technologies and innovations shaping the global construction industry.
The event, named CONEXPO-CON/AGG, has drawn more than 2,000 equipment manufacturers covering a broad range of sectors, including asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, hauling, lifting and trucking, according to the organizer.
More than 150 education sessions and workshops will be held during the show, which runs through Saturday. Industry leaders and professionals are expected to share insights on best practices, emerging challenges and technological advancements.
Held every three years, CONEXPO-CON/AGG serves as a global gathering platform for the construction, aggregates and ready-mixed concrete industries. The event features displays of cutting-edge equipment, products and services, along with extensive industry-focused educational programs. ■
