KIEV, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the next trilateral meeting with the United States and Russia is expected to take place on March 5 or 6, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported Tuesday.
The meeting is unlikely to be held in Abu Dhabi as initially planned, Zelensky said, adding that alternative venues under consideration are Switzerland, Austria, the Vatican City, and Türkiye.
"We hope that a new prisoner exchange will take place," Zelensky said.
Delegations from the three countries previously held two rounds of talks in Abu Dhabi on Jan. 23-24 and Feb. 4-5, followed by another round in Geneva on Feb. 17-18.
Last month, Ukraine and Russia conducted their first prisoner exchange since October 2025, following the trilateral meetings. ■
