PARIS, May 28 (Xinhua) -- China's Zhu Lin was unable to find a way through her first French Open main draw appearance with a 6-1, 6-1 loss to Irina-Camelia Begu here on Tuesday.

"I'm not quite familiar with the French Open, and just target at enjoying my experience of playing here this time, without thinking too much about the result," Zhu admitted.

The 106th-ranked Chinese player registered 35 percent below her Romanian rival as for win on first serve, and won as low as 25 percent on her second serves, while conceding 21 unforced errors.

"My coach and I wanted to take an upper hand from the start through constant changes, which was not the case in the match," said Zhu, who made into top 100 for the first time this February.

"She often hit the ball high and spinning, over my shoulder. Sometimes I had one or two spectacular shots, but suffered four or five points in a row shortly afterwards," Zhu said.

"I somewhat felt a little nervous in the match, thus failing to think in the same manner as in training. I just need to focus on one point in training, while paying attention to many things in match," she added.

With a return to top 100 in mind, Zhu noted that she needs to improve her serve and the ensuing attack, and the reading ability towards the match.

"As I can face different opponents for the first time, I need to think about how to heat up quickly into the match in the opening two games, and comprehend my opponent's style," she pointed out.

Wang Qiang, seeded No. 16, will set up an all-Chinese meeting with Zheng Saisai in women's singles first round later on Tuesday.
